It’s important that we keep pet owners educated about Preventative Care, Avoiding Emergencies and What To Do in a Veterinary Emergency. Here’s how we go about that.
- Dr David Tabrett is a regular team member of 2NUR FM’s Pet Chat on Wednesday’s between 12 and 1pm. Dr Tabrett talks about all things relating to pet care, why not phone in to Pet Chat and talk to Dr Tabrett on air!
- AREC is present at local pet events such as Million Paws Walk and Doggy Fun Day providing first aid to pets and pet care information to pet owners.
- Our Nurses attend Puppy Pre-School classes at some of our local Veterinary Practices and Pet Shops to provide education about veterinary emergencies; how to avoid them and what to in case of an emergency.
- Fact Sheets available on our site will keep you up to date with the most popular veterinary emergencies and how to avoid them.
The AREC staff are always involved in continuing education, at every level… including administration, animal attendants, nurses and veterinarians. We provide both in house training and external courses so that staff are always up to date.
